Snowbird Trip 2013

Heather was so sweet to invite us all up to Snowbird to stay for a night and do a craft.  Ashley had the cute countdown craft and we all brought snacks.  It was cold, really cold.  But we didn't care cuz we stayed in all night.  With spa access, a hot tub on the deck, wonderful food and friends, diet coke and a craft....what could possibly be cool enough not to just stay inside!  Yeah, we're pretty sure we have the coolest craft group-ever.  Be jealous!

 

Swiss Days 2013

Nothing better than doing "research" with your craft group ladies....at least, that's what they stories were for the husbands :)

 Notice the difference between these two pictures??  The top is BEFORE shopping and the bottom is at lunch....All of our cute hair went into pony tails because it was so HOT!!!  Unbelievably HOT!

 And then dinner....YUMMMM!  Obviously we were hungry and the diet coke tasted like HEAVEN!

Thanks girls! It was such a good time...a tradition has been set now!

November Craft Night

As everyone already knows, this is our craft for November. I am so excited to get together again! It will be at Nanette's house..again...but this time it is her turn officially. I am just helping her set up the craft night in return for using her house last month. (Thanks Nan!)

So, when it comes to picking your frame, I think the thicker the better. I am even making my husband make one for me out of molding. So if you have a really nice and handy husband, this is a good idea too. If not, I know that Hobby Lobby has there frames on sale right now for either 40 or 50% off. You can choose from blue, brick red, green and silver to paint your frames. (They will be spray painted) You will be painting the ornaments however you want, although I did buy some silver glittery ones to add that will not need to be painted.
If anyone wants to paint theirs (frames) before Thursday night, I will be painting mine on Wed. You are more than welcome to come over and do yours, or drop it off and I can do it for you. I just figured this way we wont all be waiting to spray ours at Nanette's house. No worries if you cant get it here before, you can do it there too.
We will see you all next Thursday (Nov. 11) @ 7pm Nanette's house.
